One minute I am fine and the next minute I am so depressed and I have such a hard time pulling myself out of it. I am feeling resentful of my abusive parents that made me this way.

I feel the same way, hate them sometimes. And my moods all over the place.
You're too good to let yourself be enslaved to them by feeling those negative emotions. Believe that you are above it, and you shall overcome. Acknowledge all the wonderful things about yourself, and be the person you were meant to be.

That's called depression. In a way, it is a choice. We aren't really slaves to our emotions.
