Our latest blog, inspired by our own fear and constant refresh of the news in regards to what is happening in Israel: https://www.supportgroups.com/blog/managing-emotional-resilience-in-the-face-of-disturbing-global

Food for thought:
•How are you feeling right now about Israel, Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc?
•What is one way you can make the world a better place today?
Ideas: pay for the person's coffee behind you, smile at someone, take out your neighbor's trash can, make a donation to a worthwhile organization
•How do you handle horrifying news fatigue?

@MyLastDollar Was this meant for a different post? By the way, welcome.

@MyLastDollar No apologies needed!

1. How are you feeling right now about Israel, Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc?
Grieving.
"Thinking about the people in this floating world far into the night-My sleeve is wet with tears."
"Oh that my monk's robe were wide enough to gather up all the suffering people in this floating world."
Ryokan

2. What is one way you can make the world a better place today?
Be kind to the next living creature you encounter. Then the next. Then the one after that.

3. How do you handle horrifying news fatigue?
I skim the headlines, then turn it off. No thanatotic violence voyeurism.

@Piobaire Thank you, the world does feel especially heavy at the moment, these are good tips on how to make it feel lighter and a bit brighter.
