Overeating

HI, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HERE HAS EATEN FOOD JUST BECAUSE....I'M TRYING TO DIET BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IM ALWAYS GETTING A CRAVING TO EAT UNHEALTHY THINGS. USELY IN THE MORNING I WOULD START OFF GREAT EATING A HEALTHY MEAL. HOWEVER, BY THE TIME LUNCH TIME GETS HERE I FALL OFF THE BANDWAGON. SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT WHAT IM GOING TO EAT WHEN IM ALONE. BUT MOST OF ALL, I'VE USED FOOD TO COMFORT ME WHEN I WAS STRESSED OUT. I'VE GAINED SO MUCH OF WEIGHT AND IM DISGUSTED WITH MY SIZE. HOWEVER, IM VERY CONFIDENT WITH MY BEAUTY BUT I FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH MY WEIGHT. I GUESS THAT SEEMS KIND OF STRANGE. BUT ITS THE WAY I FEEL. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THERE OPINION/ADVICE ON HOW TO COPE WITH USING FOOD AS A TOOL FOR COMFORT AND JUST OVEREATING IN GENERAL. THANKS!

Hi Princess Jazz, what you have gone through with food, many of us can totally relate to. I used to eat simply as a comfort, most especially when stressed. Though, when I changed my eating habits on the whole, then my cravings completely went away. I eat 4-6 small healthy meals throughout the day, which keeps my metabolism revved up and my cravings at bay. Also, treat yourself with something that you love every once in a while, it's okay to have a cheat moment/day. Usually, Sundays are my cheat days, where I will indulge a little bit.

As well, are you exercising? That's key. It's all about combining a healthy eating plan and exercise. Let me know if I can help you more with details about how I eat and my work-out routine. I changed my body and have never felt healthier.
