Hi, I have joined the group only today. I had been looking for a support group since almost a month and found this to be a very good one.

I am currently going through pre-divorce. I have posted a discussion on this forum around 40 mins back. I got married around a year back, and realized after a few months that that was not the family or husband i ever intended to get married to even in the wildest of my dreams.

I feel very lonely, life seems very hopeless now and i am preparing myself mentally to spend the whole of my life alone. But it feels very scary sometimes. I was also a victim of sibling abuse (emotional). That and the recent trauma, is giving me mightmares. I almost shout/ screma in my sleep, then wake up and start crying. I go to bed crying and awake crying. I really pary to God to give me strength. I am also loosing concentration in everything I do, I am starting to forget things, something which has never happened to me. Please help.

Hi,please, don't give up.I,have been through alot(57 yrs old)
Life has it's ups&downs.God&his Angels watch over me.Pray.
Good luck&God Bless you. Hugs Pat

Thanks a lot for taking time to listen to me and provide encouragement. Thanks a lot for all your wishes. Even I pray to God to give me endurance power, and that what has happened to me should not happen to anyone.

hermionie. Just now we are here as your supporters. You never know what life is going to dish you next. My advice is to try your best to move on from these experiences and see the future as a positive thing. Wishing you the best!

My journey started the first part of November 2010 with the words you have lymphoma coming just before Thanksgiving.

12/1/2010 I met with my Oncologist who gave me the news - Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma Stage IIIA - knowing and hearing are two completely different things! I just wanted to know and than again I didn't. 12/3/2010 I had my first CHOP-R, it took a long time - 8 or so hours, but overall not that bad. Since I have had three more treatments each a little harder then the last. Chemo #4 my nausea med's were changed and that helped.

2/24/2011 will be my 5th Chemo and the time of my PET scan. I'm stressing about it, willing all of the cancer will be gone.

My lymphoma was caught by a large lymph node on my neck which did not respond to antibiotics and then more started growing. Life became a roller-coaster ride once the diagnosis was made.

Hi Nelady;thanks for letting us hear your story. Please keep the faith. Your large Lymph node, that differnt respnd to antibodics, was it Inward or outside? Take care&HUGS Pat

Hi nelady i too was diagnosed with diffuse b cell NHL stage III shortly after you. I have had 2 R-chop treatments with neulasta shot the day after. I am experiencing extreme burning in my abdomen like the tissue is burning inside. I called the nurse today they don't know what is causing it. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had this?? My 3rd treatment and pet scan are feb 22nd. I hope your PET scan and chemo go well on the 24th!!jolee

Jolee - I haven’t had the extreme burning sensation although lots of other little things. Good luck with your next treatment. Sometimes I wonder what it was like to be pain / symptom free.

Hi Jolee;I,can't help with your question. Just wanted to give a big hug. Pat

Diagnosed Franklin's Disease large lymph swelling on neck Feb.2012. Three round's of Trenda help with purlsey. Now diagnose with NHL b cell. Large growth behind tongue and under and over eyes. Surgery removed most of growth behind tongue and two eye growths. A large swelling under right eye disappears a few days after surgery. Three rounds of Rituximab with only numbness on all my fingertips and mouth sores. Should I try a detox to help with the numbness?

Hi all!

I've bumped a discussion to the NHL page regarding WHO WE ARE in response to Pat and Hermione.

More to come...

Be well!

Robin

Hulia~

Caution before doing detox: PLEASE check with your Onc if this is an appropriate adjunct to your recovery at this time.

If you are going through chemo/Ritux, you may be advised to refrain from taking antioxidants that are prevalent in detox formulas like teas, and other supplements.

The cancer cells love 'em!

Be well and keep posting!

Robin
