Question

Hi everyone, sorry i haven't been on for awhile. I have been busy with school and working that all out. I meet with my dietion yesterday and she was stumped that I have still a little over my range. But she doesn't get way i am not maintaining at one weight. She didn't and wouldnt tell me what the number is and i really do not care to know. I like the way i am looking and feeling. I am wondering if the reason i am "slighty" out of range is because i went up again in weight lifting. But anyway the dietion started getting a little worried. She said "don't start to worry yet but i we need to come up with a way to maintain." I left wieghts 2 times a week and then i do some cardio or activity five and seven days a week. Which is okay with my team. Getting back to my question does anyone know why my wieght is still fexlulating??

Thank You,
Angela

It could be very well be from the weights because muscle weighs more than fat. Other than that I don't really know, but try not too worry too much about it.

Thanks, that is what i thought too. I am trying hard not to but her words keep re-playing in my mind. I wasn't at first very concered about it but no a day later i keep thinking about it and trying to figure out why that is and why she is starting worry. I don't think i look fast or feel fat. I also that if the fact that always around the second week in the month i have noticed that my face breaks out more. That was one sing that i would get right before i got my period. So i think that might have something to do with it. Right now i am not having my period but it might be trying to come again and taking some baby steps lol. I don't know. Thank you for taking time and reading my post.
Have a good day!!

Hi....any person's weight will fluctuate up to 4-5 lbs. on any given day/week. Your period could also be a factor. The bigger issue is that your body knows where it's 'range' is, not a dietitian, a chart, or any therapist or doctor. Your body may be fighting to stay where it knows it needs to be, and any attempt to alter that, could be dangerous in the sense of the eating disorder.
It is great that you are not interested in the number, and that you know you feel good!! That is what is truly important. If I were you, and my dietitian even suggested weight loss, I would say 'good-bye'.
Take care...Jan ♥
