Really want to give up caffeine but

I really want to give up caffeine. I have tried so many times. For example I had a diet pepsi Saturday at lunch. Didn't drink any caffeine sunday, monday, or tuesday, however I woke up this morning with the worst migraine ever. I repeat this phase all the time. Go 3-5 days without it and then end up sick. All it really seems to take is a few drinks of pop with caffeine in it and I am fine again. It is almost immediately gone.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do when i get to that last day that makes me sick?

bless your heart i know what you are going through.. my dentist wants me to quit soda as well and it is hard due to the withdrawals thats what i regret the most. i think the last time i quit i just kept taking tylenol everyday until the withdrawals were over. i should have stayed quit. its not easy and there is suffering.i wish there was an easier way but i dont know of none. they say that caffeine is a drug and i believe em cuz it is addictting and we have withdrawals.

it is hard to quit any habbut that lasted for years.
slowly is always better.

Did you hear of the 12 steps programme?

Just stick to it and find some one who can support you with that and find alternative drinks.
