does anyone have tips on getting rid of or reducing scars? i have a really noticable W on my wrist and it makes me so self conscious.

go to the drugstore and pick up vitamin E cream. When you apply it, massage it into the scar. This will help breakup the scar tissue and overtime it should become less visible. Also, for temperary coverage, try putting just a dab of liquid foundation over it.
Yeah, foundation for now, and something like Mederma. I used to use it, and it did a good amount of fading for my whole arm. Try not to feel self conscious, as that is a part of your past.
I kind of like the look of thel scars on my wrist, I guess it's kind of a sick pride. Does anyone else feel that way or am I alone in this?
I definitley don't hate my scars, on some days I feel you on that Alex.

I had about 80 noticable scars on my left arm (:(!), when the weather started getting warm i was rly nervous ab wat to do. I ended up buying a $15 scar reduction cream from a drugstore, and for real it reduced my scars dramatically. Theyre still a lil obvious but a hell of a lot better then they were before.
Side point- the best way to avoid scars is not to create them in the first place ;)
i've been putting bio oil on it, i think its working. yeah, i know not to do it, but sometimes you can't really help it, ya know?

We all have scars. Some of us wear them on the inside, and some of us wear them on the outside.
I'd say don't worry about it, although I know that's hard. You don't owe anyone an explanation until they know you well enough for you to share.
