By will and insomnia, i can stay up late. And wake up somewhat early. I chose not to sleep also, because of my thoughts in my head working at all hours, so dreams are odd. I like and hate my insomnia, but also see its the result of my former self desctrutive habits. Now things seem to be getting better, slowly but surely.
i am sorry you have to deal with insomnia. but it sounds like you are working on it and that things are improving, which is great. keep it up. make sure to take care of yourself and get good sleep for your health.
in all seriousness insomnia nearly killed me twice, several days no sleep has adverse affects on the body. plse take care.
Well one thing for sure, sleep, a good nights rest is something more of said. Most six, maybe five hours for school days, then i crash on non school days.
if you do find your not sleeping at all for several days contact a doctor right away hun, its really unsafe.
Will do, I managed one night till the morning, but been not wanting to sleep really, I don't like my dreams. And I find staying up helps, somewhat minus the headaches from lack of sleep.
At some points I rather not sleep, nor do I want to be friends with me best/ cloest friend. So much to think about and so much to try and get past.
If I don't get the sleep I need, I feel like I am going insane. My head spins and my thoughts are scattered. I don't sleep on my own. I have to take ambien and doxepin and some nights a lil corner of a clonopin. It's a lot, but without it, I lay there all night long thinking of all the chaos going on in my life. If you haven't already, you really must tell your doctor that you can't sleep......Hugs to you........

aimeemay - any luck on the sleep? i know you mentioned you don’t like you’re dreams and are going through something with a friend, it seems like you have a lot of your mind. find ways to relax your mind and do something that makes you happy/relaxed before bed. you can also look up natural ways to get sleep help. hope you’re doing better.
talk to your dr about it. They may have you document your sleep to decide or they may give you meds for an as needed basis if it is not bad.... the big thing is that as others have mentioned it can be very serious so talk to your doctor and be honest with them abou it. let you doctor make the decisions about where to go from there.
I still dun get proper sleep, but function well somehow. My mind has taken the turn to half not care for people and keep ones who I like to feel for. Its saving me again and well now limited sleep works.
