So...how am I supposed to stay motivated to pursue recovery when DBT waiting lists are a year?
I would love some tips right now. I'm seriously on the verge of "f*ck it"
There are some online courses you could take in the meantime. If you want I can post some links. Hugs!
This online course has been recommended by a member her on SG in our BPD group. There are weekly homework assignments that are marked and responded to by a moderator, plus a chat room to talk about the assignments. Maybe this could help until you can get into a course in your area? *hugs*

We use online courses in our dbt group. Unfortunately however dbt does not solve my problems it just gives me better ways to get through the moment. I haven't been fortunate enough to go to a dbt clinic. My therapist is really pushing me to see things I don't want to see and to do things outside my comfort zone. I think that and the skills I've learned in groups are helping. It's been a rough road, but I can honestly say I feel better than a couple of years ago. It's really hard to believe that when you want to give up, but I'm glad I kept working.
