So far, so good. Went to church today--cried through the whole service because I felt guilty about all the pain I had caused my family. My family has decided to forgive, apparently, though, because i went to my parents house after church with my boyfriend. We had a nice visit and I had a good conversation with my mom. She said my two sisters asked her "why can't she just quit" and my mom said she responded to each of them "could you quit smoking today/" Both of them said no--they have both tried many times unsuccessfully to quit smoking themselves. One of my sisters called me today. So I felt a little better. Back to work tomorrow.
Hang in there Crash. You are doing the right thing. Don't dwell on "all the pain". You are working towards creating a new life for yourself. Your parents and sisters will be there for you.
