Someone plz HELP

My boyfriend has gambled all our money away. As of right now all our bills are passed due. Our power was literally just turned off. We live in phx az it is atleast 100 degrees all day and we have no ac. I was doing laundry when the power shut off so now I have nothing to wear. My poor dog is so hot and beside himself cuz its so hot in here. I have no one to help us. I also have no way of paying to atleast have power turned on. We have all of our valuables in pawn cuz we needed money in the past. I am currently about to go sell plasma for some cash but that won't pay any of our bills just hopefully get me some gas to get to and from work. He doesn't get paid til next week. His whole check will be for rent and the car. So we will contnue to go without everything else. We would have been fine had he not gambled this past check because now all our bills our doubled and living pay check to pay check makes this impossable. We can't get a loan or a credit card cuz our credit is so bad due to this gambling in the past. HELP ME PLZ! What do I do?!

Up until a few years ago I lived in north Phoenix. I lost SRP and COP due to spending all my money on drugs. There are churches that will help you pay your bills. I used to go to our lady of the valley on Bell and 31st avenue. Also, that place on 3 rd st and dunlap may be able to help. Just do a search; there is hope and help.

Thx so much ill look into that. I hope your situation is better.

I attended my first GA group meeting on Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. I must admit that I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many people were in attendance. The group had started the round table introductions with a summary of the straw that broke the camel's back which made "us" aware of the fact that we had a real disease. We really are compulsive gamblers who would not stop because we just knew that the next spin would be the one.... the jackpot. We had absolutely no control over ourselves from the moment of entering the casino(s). It is almost like the big "eye" - camera picked up on us entering and targeted us to strip us of every dollar we walked in with. Sure, we all had that one "big" win in the beginning when the machines ousted Bingo. But that was the trick of the devil to get us hooked immediately. I kept my promise to my husband to attend and now I will not ever miss another meeting. The Church where we have our meetings is so beautiful and serene until if puts you in a peaceful state of mind upon entry. I'm determined to NEVER enter a casino again to gamble. Now I will take it one day at a time for the rest of my life. I will find VICTORY.
