I'm currently in community college, I've been attending since 06 and that alone makes me feel kind of like crap. Thats a long time to be at a community college and at times I come down on myself real hard because of it, and because I have these feelings I've been taking school more serious. I have a real hard time with school and because of that most of the time I only take one or two classes at a time so that I can get the best grade possible, but because I want to finish so bad Ive registered for four classes and Im already feeling the stress. School starts on the 17th of this month and Im scared out of my mind. When I get scared and start to feel the pressure I always back out of classes but I just can't do it this time. Just so stressed already.
I can understand your stress in anticipation of classes starting. I have two classes left to finish my master's degree, and I don't have the nerve to finish them. I started one, and I had to drop it, because I just feel like I have given all I can possibly give. The classes are hard and I just don't want to work that hard any more.
I really want to finish, too, but I just can't get the nerve to take the next class.
When I got my bachelor's, I kept telling myself, in a little while, the time will pass and I can be done, or not with my degree. If you really, really want to get the degree, you should keep giving yourself those inner messages that make you feel that it is worth it to keep going.
Its okay to go slow. Only do what you can handle. It is okay. You'll make it.
Thank you for sharing and for the advice. It helps alot, keep pushing yourself as well to finish. your so close, you can do it as well.
Hi Dance4Life87, I agree with kolo. Only do what you can handle and take it slow. Take it one day at a time. Don't look too far ahead. Stay in today and you will get there eventually. Keep sharing with us. We are here for you. ((((hugs))))
