This is Nat. I started dealing with tinnitus shortly after catching covid. Has anyone else seen a connection between the two? If so how long after covid does it clear up or improve?

My husband has brain fog and he forgets things so easy now, short tterm memory loss . Its a month and a couple days now and this ringingin my left ear is still there from having covid, i didnt have any issues with my ears until covid came along. Take care of yourself and i hope the brain fog clears up.@Lookn4raysofSunshine

I had covid at the end of 2020 and the same thing happened to me. I still deal with tinnitus and it seems as if it wont be going away. Sometimes I forget about it and have learned to ignore it in a sense.

Natcantcomplain I'm wondering the same thing myself. I have read where there's a connection between covid and tinnitus. They don't understand why. I got some kind of illness. It felt like a respiratory infection. I wasn't vomiting, but I had many other symptoms. Well, before I got better from it, my left ear started ringing. Now I have two different sounds sometimes going on simultaneously. My doctor says I have fluid behind my eardrum. I'm doing some home techniques to see if it goes away. In time if it doesn't, he'll send me to an ENT to get my hearing checked. I've also read that 90% of people with my kind of tinnitus have hearing lose. I think if it's going to resolve itself, it could take some time, say three months or so. I had no problem until I got that infection or whatever it was. Sounds like we're in similar situations.
