I did selfharm
When I wanted to hurt myself, my true motivation was rage against life. It took me 50 years to put words to those feelings. Maybe if you understand why you want to self harm, other than because you are in pain, you will have a starting point to figure out why you feel as you do.
@Limboland I knw waht iWant to say most of the time. It actually b a lot iWant to say. Getting to say it all and someone listening in person is rare. So iUsually dnt wanna say it all.
I have many people like that in my life. After 33 years of marriage my husband only started to hear me when I told him a saw a divorce attorney. He started to take counseling seriously then. No way he wants to split our hard earned assets. Have you heard of the group calledNAMI. National Alliance for Mentally Ill. Check the internet and see if they are organized in your state. If not them, perhaps you can find other sources for a group support group. These people will listen and probably identify with your situation. It was so helpful for me when I went to meetings.
