SO i would appreciate the support. I would keep updating my progress. thank you

Hi Prettywingz90, thank you so much for being here with us and for sharing. You mentioned losing weight and gaining it back. Do you mind my asking what you did to lose the weight and what caused you to gain the weight back? As well, can you explain your exercise and eating habit [as much as you would like to share]. I am trying to get a better understanding of your habits so that I can help you as best as possible.

I really like that you are setting a very realistic and healthy weight loss goal of 34.5lbs over the course of 4.5 months. I know that you can do this and I am here to help you through it.

thank you puppydoglvr for your comment. Well what i did was eat right and exercise when i had time to. Now, I gained weight back because of the stress that I have. Right now, me and the best friend are just eating fruits and veggies for a whole week and i exercise every other day and drink water. I just want to see if this works. If it does Ill continue it or change it up just by watching what i eat.

Hi Pretty, I am a personal trainer, so I would just like to ask you your age and height as well to help you the best I can. One thing I want to ensure you dont do is restrict you diet so much that chemicals get embalanced which can cause serious issues. What are you doing for your workouts, take me through your typical day of food intake?

Pretty, I agree with what KMHRH in regard to restricting with your diet. It's important to eat healthy well-rounded meals, because if you remain on a diet of fruits and veggies, then when you go back to regular eating you can regain the wait and then some. I've seen this happen to friends time and time again.

I agree with the prior comments. We need to look at the weight loss journey as a continued progress, eating healthy most of the time. We can't eat healthy drop the weight and expect it to stay off when we return to old eating habits, I have done that many time!
Good Luck

thank you both.. im 5'3 and im 20... i gave up on eating jus fruits and veggies and just watching what i eat by counting my calories. is that a good thing to jus count calories or i have to look at the rest as well? i dont have time to workout that much.. i ahve the ab circle pro and i get on it for like 5 mins and stop but im working on trying not to do that anymore and jus keep on going

I am so happy to hear that you stopped the fruits and veggies diet. What's completely changed my body, where I have maintained it for years is by eating smaller meals throughout the day. For example, I will have oatmeal and banana for breakfast, a small snack a couple of hours, healthy lunch (salad with protein such as tuna or chicken), another small snack, dinner (protein and veggies). This keeps my metabolism revved and I've been able to maintain my weight for years, because I created a lifestyle rather than a diet. Also, try to get in activity/exercise when you can. Even parking further away and walking, taking the stairs versus the elevator, walking to work rather than driving. There are small things that you can do throughout the day that really add up.

Nice tips and tricks! Big high five on the getting rid of the restriction diet! small meals though the day is the best to keep the metabolism going. If you are going to count calories, DO NOT drop below 1200 for your height and weight. Watching the salt content, fat and protein I would say are the biggest other things. Grab a label when reading this...soup can for example. Look at calories and LOOK AT THE PER value; for example it will say per 250 ml look at what the entire can is and do the math. The best advice I can give you when watching salt, fat and protein is to look at the percent daily value if your soup can says the sodium content is 30 % of your daily value there a couple things to keep in mind: 1. This is based on the per serving value we found before, and likely that soup can has two servings so you have to double that percent value to 60%. ALSO this percent value is based on a 2000 calorie average person. YOU ARE SMALLER THAN THE AVERAGE. Your intake will be about 1500 calories to maintain. Therefore all these percent of your daily values will be higher for you; so that 30% is closer to 37% for you, you have the whole soup can and you are looking at around 85% of your salt intake for the day. I hope this is helpful and if you have more questions feel free to ask.

thank you KMHRH for the tips. I am a busy girl with going to two schools.. i really do not have time to work out..so hwo can i fit that into my schedule??
