Well, surgery is Friday morning. EVERYTHING is being removed. Had my COVID19 test Tuesday and am in isolation until Friday morning. I've been bleeding and cramping for over 2 months! So, although there is a part of me that is sad about losing all my female parts, I'm also ready to have things removed in hope of getting past this constant pain and lack of energy. Not sure what to expect after surgery. What the healing process will look like, what my body will be like, lots of questions in my mind.

I thought this might be helpful, I hope your surgery is a huge success and your recovery is a rousing success. I would recommend seeing a pelvic floor pt specialist, talk to your surgeon before you are discharged.
@CKBlossom Hello. The surgery was canceled after the anesthesiologist spoke with me. I was being prepped for surgery, had the IV in my hand, had already been wiped down with antiseptic wipes and was in the hospital gown on the bed. When he learned the trouble I have breathing he said he was very concerned about bringing me out of the anesthesia following surgery. He said I probably wouldn’t make it without being on a ventilator. I cried because I’ve been in so much pain. I just want relief. My OBGYN doctor came in during the discussion and agreed with the anesthesiologist saying we need to get me into a specialist to get a good picture of my lung function. Then my doctor asked me to describe exactly what I’ve been experiencing the past two months. After I described in detail my symptoms, she said she would be getting me into her OBGYN Oncologist asap. I point blank asked her if she was saying, I could have uterine cancer and she said yes. Needless to say, my day was turned upside down!! So this coming week I will be hearing from several specialist to get in and have tests done, then surgery will be rescheduled once the lungs look good enough to handle it. If there is cancer, treatment will also be discussed. My husband and I are a bit overwhelmed, disappointed but also thankful the doctors used wisdom and cancelled the surgery. In the meantime I will continue to do pain pills to help manage my pain.
