there are a vast number of things you may not even think of as art until you wander around a big city over run with and totality focused on it. Of course one form of art is music. So outside on the sidewalk on 3 0r 4 different street corners they had piano's set out where anyone who cared to could play their music.
When I was coming home after things had died down a bit. I noticed one of these piano's on a corner near my apartment.
there was no one playing it and not a whole lot of people around so I figured I'd see if I remembered anything but chop stix, if even that. I plinked around a bit till I found middle C and then I remembered !? Once again saved by rock n role. The entire intro to the song "Love comes walkin in" by: Vanhaylen is keyboards. So that was fun for a few minutes.
Now I gota play my guitar for a while. Hmmm?? Wonder why that is.
By the way when I came in I noticed one of the older gentlemen who lives here, was sitting in the lobby, all bummed out and looking down. I've noticed that he hasn't been out for a couple of days. He's usually gossip central. So I know he knew what was going on out there. Probably knew weeks ago.
I had a fun day and he could have had one too. It shows once again that life is what you make of it. It's Your choice.
