What is the longest anyone has gone without an outbreak?

For me, I cant remember exactly when the last genital outbreak was. I want to say maybe last October....
Recently I acquired oral hsv too, and it's been over a month since my oral outbreak and it was super mild.

I hope to one day be one of those people who never get outbreaks :)

That would be amazing. I am trying to research food as much as I can. How is there not a recipe book for people with herpes!?

I take daily meds haven't had one for six months.

Otherwise I was having outbreaks monthly. Glad Dr agreed to daily treatment.

For the first few months i needed to go on suppressive therapy(had back to back outbreaks)…now I just have to watch what I eat, take supplements, and keep my immune system in good shape. I do have my emergency antivirals just in case though :slight_smile: The only reason I had that outbreak in october was me going overboard with my cocoa powdered almonds and pistachios. Otherwise I think it would have been over a year with no outbreak, darn…I learned my limit now though lol
