What should i take for my depression its getting pretty bad and scary. I dont even recognize myself. My husband is letting me go and i am so broken.
Have you talked to your psychiatrist or primary care physician about what medications you could take to ease the burden of depression? We're all here to support one another, but a medical professional is better suited to answer your question, given they know your medical history, any allergies to medications you have, and can monitor your health (which is very important, especially when you're in such a fragile state) while you heal. Hugs to you and I'm here if you need a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on at any time.
@MMMMMT is exactly right. You need to see a doctor and tell him that depression is affecting your marriage. There is help, don’t wait any longer and don’t think you can solve this on your own. You need help. hugs
thank you all so much. I am so glad i found SG and everyone here is so supportive @MMMMMT
Some people don't like meds but they saved my marriage and my life for that matter. Good luck.
Your primary care doctor can prescribe antidepressants for anxiety & depression, if you can't get to a Psychiatrist. Talking to a therapist can ease some of the symptoms you are feeling. Hang in there!
i prefer a natural approach, I will do some research and also do need to start exercising. I need to learn how to love myself again. I will still get professional help. Thank you all again.
I would for sure try without med first. Take care of your self, then after some time trying to deal concider meds. I went through a really hard time about 12 years ago, and meds were helpful after i struggled for months, list a ton of weight. Now I am trying meds, after 6 months of trying. They can be helpful to get you through the worst. And talking to a professional does wonders!
Some natural approaches that can help besides exercise are listening to positive affirmations on YouTube, blogging, journaling, listening to music, eating healthy, & taking Omega 3 fatty acid supplements I heard work as well. But, it's always good to have professional support to guide you on your journey.
