What would you say?

So I am relatively new at my job...just here a little over a month. My marriage is on the rocks...see previous journals/discussions. Here is my question...my coworkers know I am married but they don't know anything about my relationship on the rocks. Frequently they will ask questions about me and my husband...like what our interests are...what he does for work...just general questions. I had been answering them like nothing was wrong however lately I just don't want to talk about him. Numerous people have said not to bring my problems into the workplace. But how do I handle these questions?

Hi,

Although I'm an approachable person I tend to keep my home life very private and "separate" from people whom are not directly involved with my family. Most people can "read" the invisible boundary lines. I listen and nod in conversations but share very little. If at all possible, I answer with questions regarding my family in a few short words. This way they won't feel compelled to ask you more questions.
Hope that helps.
