Hi friend,
I’m really sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced and how they’ve affected your ability to connect with others. It’s incredibly difficult to feel isolated and to have systems in place that make it harder for you to build relationships and find happiness.
It’s important to remember that your ADHD and autism don’t make you any less deserving of love, friendship, and support. There are people and communities out there that can offer understanding and acceptance. Finding the right support group or community can help you connect with others who genuinely understand and appreciate you for who you are.
If you haven’t already, reaching out to a counselor or advocate who specializes in navigating social services might help you address these barriers and explore new ways to build connections. You deserve to have friends and to experience joy in your life. Don’t give up hope—there are ways to find support and build meaningful relationships, even if it feels challenging right now. With love, SG
