Today i tried to tell my mother about my addiction to prescription pills and how i want off the klonopin because it helps, but i abuse it too.. she said im just being paranoid and i need to talk to my psychiatrist about it..
okay mom, just shove me off on someone else..
this makes my depression 10x better let me tell ya..

In my experience, mothers are in denial of everything. They don't want to believe their daughter has any problems. I had my own issues with valium, xanax, and klonopin (to name a few).
Perhaps you should try to approach your mother one more time and ask her for help, if that is what you really want or need. Do you feel you are out of control?
We can't rely on anyone but ourselves to get clean and sober. Others can be there for support but in the end, it's all on you... It's hard, I've been there but it pays off. Been clean and sober for almost 7 years now.
