Will be meeting with a dermatologist next week because of a suspected BCC on my shoulder. This is my first time I have had to see anyone for any moles, though have had such severe sun damage I should have expected it. What I am wondering is what are the steps to getting a full diagnosis/ getting this thing removed? Wondering how long it will be after the consult with the dermatologist to getting the biopsy/removal? Thank you for any help/advice!
I know that I recently had a mole removed and it was done in the office and I got the results in under a week. Mine wasn't cancer, but either way, it is good that you are getting this looked at and treated if it is indeed something that needs treatment. Hugs and welcome!
