So it's 1:16 AM and here I sit. My back is killing me. I can't seem to get any relief tonight. I'm seriously considering getting myself a massage next weekend, maybe sooner. I've never had one, but something has to give. This is getting rediculous!
Hi Beautiful! I sympathize with you! There is no worse pain except childbirth. Do you know what is causing the pain? A massage will help but make sure you go to someone that knows what they're doing. Try laying on your back, like on the floor, and propping your lower legs and feet up on a table at an angle. It will take the pressure off your back. I hope you feel better soon! I have severe scoliosis and have had 2 spinal fusions as a child. It is simply back spasms around and between my shoulder blades. I;m hunch backed on one side and that is where my greatest pain is almost always. The weather here is kinda crappy which just exacerbates the spasms.
I'm just hurting and tired right now. Scoring kind of high on the "crank-o-meter" at the moment. LOL!
Well, you just crank all you need to! You certainly have a good reason! I hope by now you have gotten some relief! I have had 3 surgeries on my back with them putting in a rod and screws last time. But I still have pain, like when I over do it physically and sometimes, like you, when the weather is bad. After my last surgery they put me on Lyrica. Have you ever heard of it? I started taking the generic version awhile back and it's not working as well. But it was a godsend. I hope they have you on something for the pain. Take care of you. You will be in my thoughts.
