Anderson Cooper to Hold Special 'Bullying No Escape' Town Hall Meeting

For the Bullying Prevention Month of October, CNN will air a special report regarding the topic of bullying in a multi-platform format. I will be tuning in;

"With America's youth facing what's being called a "bullying epidemic," Anderson Cooper will recognize October's Bullying Prevention Month with a special one-hour TV town hall entitled, "Bullying: No Escape; an AC 360 Special Report with People Magazine and Cartoon Network." Watch the video for a first look!

Airing next Friday, October 8th at 10pm ET on CNN, the special multi-platform report will feature Dr. Phil McGraw and Rosalind Wiseman, author of the best-selling book Queen Bees and Wannabees, which inspired the movie 'Mean Girls,' discussing the bullying problem kids face in America today and what parents, children and bystanders can do to stop it.

In addition to Cartoon Network's long-term commitment to a multi-platform bullying prevention initiative, People magazine will also run a special report in its October 18 issue, which hits newsstands on October 8. The issue will include interviews with residents of South Hadley, MA, the hometown of Phoebe Prince, who committed suicide in January at age 15 reportedly due to relentless bullying."

thanks for posting this. I will check it out as well. it seems like i am hearing a lot about bullying all over the place. is it worse than it used to be or is it be publicized more? it is so sad to hear about these suicides, bullying must be more extreme now.
