For people that want to share what kind of things to you have anxiety about, I have anxiety when I am alone at home, or in the dark and when I am around bugs.
Hey sweetie. I have anxiety about a lot of things. Not being able to be a good mother and wife. Not being able to go outside in crowds is a big one for me, I totally panic and need the safety of my own home. Family gives me anxiety because i can't hold up to their expectations. Being alone scares me to death because i'm afraid of what I am capable of. Anything that has to do with society really gets to me, i can't even use the phone or do the simple "grown up" things. My son has aspergers so I'm terrified of going to his IEP meetings. My kids give me anxiety over school functions and meeting with other parents...basically everything gives me anxiety lol. Do you want to share anything else that gives you anxiety? I'm sure i can relate an hopefully be of help to you. I have anxiety medicine that helps take the edge off but I still get all shaky with sweaty hands and nervousness. Have you tried any self soothing techniques? I know in the moment it dosen't really seem to help but some simple breathing excercises may just help you some. Sometimes it comes on rather quickly without any notice so I know that it is hard to relax and see things through, but you aren't alone in this, I feel it too sweetie. I get anxiety when I think about the steps in recovery to beating my eating disorder, its very over whelming. I also get anxiety when I think about eating food or not burning enough calories. I sometimes get anxiety when there are a lot of people around (if im in a shop or on the subway) its a ****** deal no matter how you look at it.
I have anxiety over alot of things that deal with food, I do not like to bring food places and cook for people except my kids. I recently have been getting really anxious when in large crowds like there is no excape (this is really new to me). When I have to sit still I need to be moving all of the time.
I get anxiety if i can't work out. or if i eat a certain amount of calories. I get anxiety when i go to certain places because they remind me of unpleasant things (being abused, getting yelled at, ect.)
Thanks for sharing what you have anxiety about. Sometimes not all the time but sometimes I actually get panic attacks do you girls ever get that? And sometimes it's just anxiety well thanks again for posting and for sharing. It's nice knowing and helps knowing that other people have anxiety.
I get panic attacks a lot especially in public. I get very hot, sweaty , dizzy and feel like i'm either going to pass out or go crazy and start acting out, my heart beats out of my chest and i can't do the things normal people can, I can't even call on the phone because it gives me great attacks. I hope that helps a bit knowing you aren't alone in this I have all the classic symptoms, so I can share with you whenever you need.

i get anxious when confronted with my own emotions and thoughts. when i have to face myself in the mirror and actually think about ME and what i look or am like. i have anxiety when confronted with certain foods or too many foods. when not being able to work out. when having to go out and actually dress up for it.
and yeah gina, when having to think about facing ED, about entering IP. im dead scared of it..
hi all, i am new tp this, but i have panic attacks while driving, this is aggrivating to me, and i cant wait to get in the car and drive again. I go to the doc on jan 13th and i will even panic going there lol. Good luck to you guys and i hope the best!!
Everyone thanks again for sharing what makes you have anxiety or panic attacks, I just wanted to here and know what makes other people on here have aniety or panic attacks cuz sometimes I feel like the only one and so this helped me a lot so thanks again so much, all of us may not pr may have similar of what makes us have anxiety or panic attacks but we do experience them and so we can be here for each other. So thanks again!
I get anxiety about being around large groups or most people that have ever done anything to bother me or hurt me, due to violent thoughts that I have about hurting them. I see it as if it was happening. So when I know I have to be around them I get anxiety and then when with them I see what I can do to them and all i want is out of there. Once out I normally will have a panic attack, and or self injure. I also do not like crowded places due to I get anxious of what people are saying about me and my mind messes with me.
