Exercise for Mental Health & Longevity

I came across an interview yesterday with Mel Robbins, and they were talking about how sitting is the new smoking. I’ve inherently known for some time that sitting for long periods, day after day isn’t good for ANY part of our health, so I choose to always be on the move, albeit a trauma-response. Which is worse, we might ask? Being a workaholic or being sedentary? They can have very different effects on the body but also, can be very similar. I choose to move, as I know through personal experience that it benefits me more than hinders me. What has been your experience?

Experience on what exactly? I found myself sitting for too long since i know myself i think, its kinda of impossible not to, as i got older i cant stand for too long as well, maybe cuz i have back problems, idk if walking every day has a positive effect on me, i have yet to figure it out
