I'm about to start radiation treatment and I would like to know if anyone has experienced this and what to expect
My husband doesn't have to do radiation, but I had previously read up on the side effects just in case it came up.
What part of the body do you have to have the radiation? For example, I've read that radiation to the throat can cause soreness and stiffness in the neck muscles. I've also read that is cna cause a sunburn like reaction on the skin.
Above the diaphragm you could experience dry throat and loss of hair at the back of your head where the skull meets the spine kinda of a square bald patch there. Below the diaphragm nausea, but im sure they have something to to help that nowadays.
