I have. I just did.
I'm starting to not only purge after I binge, but purge after normal meals as well. It's like the harder I try to control my disorder, the more it takes over. It's getting worse.
Any advice? Inspiration?

Hi Koweee, thank you for being here. I'm a recovered bulimic and can relate to what you are referring to. My bulimia completely took over me at one point. Once I saw my health completely deteriorate and the doctor gave me ample warnings, I finally sought treatment. I've been recovered for 15 years now and I've never felt happier and healthier in my life.
Have you ever sought treatment and/or talked to a therapist?
Thanks for the comment. I see a therapist weekly and it feels good to open up and she really puts things into perspective. I am trying so hard to get better but the harder I try, the worse I seem to become. It's taking over.
I know this feeling. not from your conditions point of view, but know this feeling nonetheless. i wish you nothign but the best, and pray for a complete recovery

kowee....Hi, and welcome!
Sometimes this confusion disorder will actually get harder or worse before it gets better. The important thing is that you keep looking for ways to stay one step ahead, and not let it pull you down. Be honest with your therapist, and it the outpatient level is not enough for you right now, please consider a more structured treatment plan to prevent you from losing even more of your life to this disorder. I hope you will continue to share...if you are not making progress, you are probable digressing because length of illness can affect your chances for full recovery. Please use all of your resources and please your case!! Take care...Jan ♥
Hi....It's hard to make a clinical suggestion since I don't know you, but if the outpatient level is not helping, then a partial hospitalization program could be what you need. The IOP (Intensive outpatient) level is not structured enough, nor does it have a long enough duration, usually, to be effective. I suggest that you ask your therapist what she recommends. Take care...Jan ♥
