Hello Everyone. I am a 51 year old white male and i have finally excepted that I am gay. Then why is it so hard to come out? I have tried multiple times to tell my sister who has a gay son but the words never seem to come out. I am truly ready to live as an openly gay man and be in a long term relationship. I can't wait until i can walk down the street holding my boyfriends hand and kissing him in public. Any advice on the best way to finally tell my family i am gay. Much appreciated.

Wow! Bravo! I came out at 40 and have all sorts of insights. First, I need to know if you are married or in a relationship with a woman, who is your family, etc...I am also a therapist, BTW.
I have been divorced for 10 years. I have 2 beautiful children. One sister and parents are deceased. I have only been with men sexually for the past 5 years. Ready to live my life openly and free.
