I have realized that I give time and energy to many people and some who are clearly undeserving of it, and I came to the conclusion today after a very rude response to a comment of mine, that I am only giving help and time to those that truly deserve it. This was a very big lesson learned and I thank this person for opening my eyes to this.
It's sad when you honestly want to help someone from the goodness of your heart and soul, and you get slammed for it. Is this really what this world has come to?
puppydoglvry i am sorry that someone was rude to you. some people i guess feel so ugly about themselves that they treat other people poorly. as many people on this site know and i definately know you try your best to help everyone on here you and kathy are great supporters. i wish i was as good at it as you 2. i wouldnt waste your time and energy on that person because they must not really want the help. hope your day gets better hun.
Ashley, you are so wonderful, thank you so much for putting a big smile on my face with your sweetest words. I have been on this site for over 1.5 years consistently now and no one has ever been rude, ever. People are so genuine and kind. I totally agree with you in that this person is clearly in a very miserable place and as the saying goes...misery loves company. I am going to do as a very good friend and spiritual guide taught me years ago; combat negativity with positivity and send negative people love energetically. And, that's just what I did with this person.
I guess it's that I am going through a lot myself, and I am just here trying to help people from a very good place, so when I read that comment I was floored and it was hurtful. But, I am now over it...most especially after a good work-out where I really worked off my anxiety.
Thank you again for being such an amazing person and for being here with us, but most especially for giving me so much love and support. You are a STAR and a stellar Supporter.
