withdrawling from percs...my whole body hurts...got the shakes..extremely depress one minute then full on rage the next...sweating but I'm freezing...have no job..no money..I think I've hit the bottom..I came here cause I don't know what else to do, or who to talk too :.(
I have been off percs for 22 days. Go to an ER, get a script for clonodine (sp?). I slept for about 6 days. I still have VERY low energy. Each day is a challenge. I also found a local NA group. Good luck.
Well I am engaged to a man that is addicted to perky's. He does have pain and has had alot of surgerie's. He get's his percription from his Dr every 2 weeks and by the end of the first week his medication is gone and then he has to go another 2 weeks before he gets a refill again. He has a problem taking what is perscribed the way it's perscribed he feels like he has to take them all up at once. He will go through withdraws and detox then start all over again. I feel so powerless in helping him I have no idea what he is going through and I don't know what to do for him. He needs to take them for his pain but not 3 and 4 at a time. He just can't help him self. He's a different person when he takes them he is very open and will talk about his feelings very sweet things that I wish he would say when he wasn't on the perky's. But it's like he get's bottle brave and speaks what's on his mind. I don't know what kind of help he need's.
I'm trying hard to withdraw from Lortab! I went from taking 130-160 Lortab 7.5 a month... down to 3 a day for $ years.
I am determined to do this! I won't have anyone at home for a couple weeks, so now is the time! I've kept my addiction hidden from everyone for 4 years! I got addicted after having surgery for colon cancer.
I'm already feeling the withdrawl symptoms! Can anyone please tell me what to expect. Also any tips/help with the withdrawl. Thankyou so much!
