I have been out of work for over 6 weeks now due to injuring tendons on my elbow during personal time. I think I picked the wrong kind of doctor. He's a good family doctor but I should have gone with a specialist. Insurance is terrible and they are fighting me getting an MRI, even though I will have to pay for the things myself as they don't pay for anything. I'm trying to be patient and just hope I don't loose my job (I am living off savings now but hope to get back to work before too long). Thanks for listening.
Man that’s tough! I can understand having anxiety n stress over this... loss of income major issue! At least for time being there’s things helping like food drives n stimulus check bc of pandemic. Do you require surgery? Hope you get better soon n can get back to work soon!
Thank you Foundlove. Thing is, I don't know if I need surgery or not and with the Doctor / insurance slowing things down on an MRI, I don't know. I'll have to hope I can find out relatively soon. I know the nurses know my name because I am calling pretty often, even went by a couple times in person to get some answers. ? I hope I get better soon also. Thank you again.
@105 yes speak with your insurance company also… it probably a lot to do with insurance company! Good luck with that
Thank you. Insurance was holding things up. I did have surgery. It went ok. Getting older makes things harder. just like the older people told us when we were youngsters.
