Im trying to find out some more information on Zevalin for NHL has anyone had it?

Hey ya'll! I have B Cell Follicular Lymphoma. My doctor has mentioned to me Zevalin and I do not know much about it other than there specific website. I am trying to find someone to talk to and ask questions about this zevalin. It is a radioimmunotherapy treatment. The doctor said I am a candidate for it and wants me to come in for the study and testing. So if anyone on here has been through it can you please let me know so that I can have someones input on it that has actually been through it theirselves? Thank you all so much! Love ya'll!
God Bless

sorry about that ya'll im sure you all know this but it is B Cell Follicular Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.

tjhartline, good luck with your treatment...here is a pretty good summary page about RIT treatment in general and Zevalin in particular: http://www.nhlcyberfamily.org/treatments/radioimmunotherapy.htm

My read says it is a reasonable alternative for FL, compared to the other choices. Once again, good luck and

Good health,

kermica

I interviewed Dr. Mark Kaminski, co-developer of Bexxar, about RIT on 10/14/2010. To my knowledge, it's the most comprehensive info for lay folks available. You can listen to the webcast or download a transcript here:
