@Griz75 thank you for your reply. At the end of the day, I just want him to be happy with who he is. My love for him will not change and I hope one day, he’ll feel comfortable enough to tell me. It just kind of caught me off guard.

Hi! Thanks for checking in! No I didn’t ask him about it. When this happened he was “seeing” a girl who, I believe was bisexual. That "relationship " ended and so did the dressing. I’m not sure what that was or what was going on.
