So 2nd week of going in the right direction. My binges have gone down dramatically, but I'm finding myself worried about the future. Thinking about what if I start back up really bad again or in the future if I will have a problem with pregnancy because I won't be able to handle the change. Trying to center myself and just focus on how I'm doing now and taking it one step at a time.
Hey that's awesome! Just think about how you feel now. Focus on the changes in your body you feel without binging. Center in on the here and now and the future will play itself out. Keep it up :)
Try not to worry so much about tommorow and focus your energy on just getting through today <3
i am just taking the first steps to stop my binge eating today and reading this inspired me :) you are doing great! try to follow your own advice and take it one day at a time. keep it up !
I get so overwhelmed thinking about the future. Even day by day! I'm starting hour by hour... I do hope you keep hanging in there. I will say, once you are in a position to consider pregnancy, that can really change the way you view yourself. When I discovered I was pregnant with my oldest, I immediately began eating correctly for his sake. Granted, I had only had the eating disorder for a year at that point, but I think psychologically, something shifted.
Anyway, congrats on getting yourself turned around!
Lilac....Thank you :)
MNO34...I'm glad to have inspired you! It's rough starting out, but just keep talking yourself through it and get all the support you need. I'll keep going
Shadinah....You know I didn't think of it that way. Gives me something to think about. I've had my ED for quite some time now though...I think that's what worries me, but I know I should think about that when I get there. Thanks
hey all.
i can't even plan further than the next minute. my mind wants it all, it wants to know the rest of my life, but i can hardly bear a minute. so i try to appreciate every extra minute i get through a day without b/p, without panic, without cutting ...
