Well a snowstorm is happening here. That just makes fibro pain even worse than normal.High humidity or precipitation makes the pain unbearable.Does it affect anyone else this way?
My mom suffers from fibro and we got hit with 40 cm of snow, the weather and pressure in the air def affect her fibro.
Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I too find the cold and snow makes the fibromyalgia worst. We have had alot of rain this winter and it is hard to try and stay possitive when the pain is so unbareable that you can hardly move. I have often said that I am not one to wish time away but I have often said in the past month that I wish that winter was over so hopefully the pain would slack off. I was only diagnosed with fibermyalgia last September so I don't really know what to expect. All I know is that I can't imagine the pain being any worst. Take care and I hope that you feel alot better soon.
Thanks for your comments.Fibro is miserable thing. It helps to share.
The weather affects my pain levels horribly as well. The 20+ degree drops suddenly kill me! It's so frustrating. I just try to stay inside as much as possible, use a heat pad and drink soothing herbal teas. I work full-time in an office, so it's hard to completely avoid the cold this time of year, but I bundle up to not make it any worse.
I'm thinking a move to the Caribbean or Hawaii might help! :) I'm about ready to leave the snow behind for good!
Hope you feel better. :)
Thanks, hope your feeling better soon too.I look forward to spring and fall, summers are bad for me.The humidity causes me as much pain as the snow,so I'm screwed for half the year...lol!I really have to plan everything according to the weather.I have to have, one to two days of rest between outings. The pain zaps any energy and desire I may have to do things, its a constant battle.Oh well thank goodness for air conditioners!
