Working and Volunteering

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I get so excited to work, and volunteer at places until the time comes… Then I just get super bad anxiety and mood swings about working, and put myself down. Is there any coping mechanisms that you guys can recommend to get my brain to be quiet for once? I’m so exhausted.

Look up mindful skills and distracting skills and practice them. Journal each day writing down your moods each day. It takes some time to make the skills a habit. Look up meditation on utube and there are tebatin bowls sounds that quiet the mind. It takes awhile to quite yourself by meditation but it helps quiet the mind. You can do it. Big hugs.
